Freelance experience
I have been freelancing continuously since 2006, mainly translating texts on the organisation, activity and financial position of French listed companies. See Specialisation.
In-house experience
From November 1996 to June 2004 I was a staff translator at the Financial Times in London, translating articles from the Spanish and French financial press, Expansión and Les Echos being the main titles. The work also involved selecting articles for translation, and editing the work of other translators.

- 2000: “Law” option of the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) from the Institute of Linguists (IOL)*, Spanish and English
- 1999: “Local Government” option of the DPSI (IOL), Spanish and English
- 1995: Diploma in Translation from the IOL, Spanish into English
- 1990-1994: BA (Hons) Spanish with French, University College London.
*The former IOL was granted its Royal Charter in 2005 and changed its name to CIOL.
